Crystal Ice Skating started in 2009 with their very successful seasonal ice rinks at both the Buena Park Mall in Downtown Buena Park and The Pike Center in Downtown Long Beach. Both rinks were received highly by the community and the success of these rinks prompted President and CEO Mitch Darwish to begin renting the rinks out to potential clients. Within just a short couple of months Crystal Ice Skating has already been featured on KTLA 5 Morning News, during a two week segment on the 2010 Winter Olympics, was installed for a Disney Channel TV Show called "Good Luck Charlie" and delivered their rink to a variety of different events including the movie premier of The Tooth Fairy at LA Live.
